| 15881. A RESPONSE TO LYNN WHITE'S 1967 ARTICLE, "THE HISTORICAL ROOTS OF OUR ECOLOGICAL CRISIS." This paper presents a critique of White’s article which argues that today’s ecological problems are largely due the Judeo-Christian world view. This paper agrees with some of his points, but disagrees with the view that there is an inherent connection between religious beliefs and the tendency to exploit nature. Rather, the problem is mainly due to the element of greed in human nature. 6 pages; 0 footnotes; 1 bibliographic source. | $42 |
